More than 5,000 people stop by our studio here on the web every month. So, as you can imagine, we get to design a lot of rooms. When you do something a lot, you get pretty good at it. about lisa ellis - lead designer and CEO

Hi! I'm Lisa Ellis, Allied ASID. I'm all about reinvention, whether it's through interior design or cold, hard personal assessment.

Though I've been designing from the day I could put two blocks together, I actually spent the first 17 years of my career as a television writer, producer and executive producer. I produced with a passion, received major accolades from my industry, and then, about a decade ago, felt the yearning to reinvent and follow a passion from the deepest place in my heart: interior design. I enrolled in UCLA's Interior Design program and TV again came a-calling, but this time, as clients. I've reinvented rooms for the actors, producers and writers from such hit shows as Nip/Tuck, Frasier and Cheers, as well as the homes of other well-heeled clients. But what really resonates with who I am now is my online interior design service, Room Design Online™.

I believe the interior design industry is due for a bit of reinvention and democratization and I intend to be there every step of the way. Viva la revolución!
